What is 6- Mukhi Rudraksha? 

• Lord Kartikeya, the young, beautiful, and courageous son of Lord Shiva, bestows his blessing on the 6- Mukhi Rudraksha. Skanda, Shanmukha (the six-faced), Mahasena (Commander of the army of the Devas), and Guru Guha (he who lives in a cave representing the heart of Shiva) are a few of the names given to Lord Kartikeya.
• The Sakthivel represents the image of Kartikeya, the bold young warrior who rides on a peacock while brandishing his sword.
• The Six Mukhi Rudraksha might help mitigate the unfavourable influences of Venus. It has been said that both Kartikeya and Lord Ganesha bestow their blessings upon this Rudraksha.
• It is said that the user of this Rudraksha would also get the blessings of Goddess Laxmi. It may be worn around the neck or around the wrist to combat fatigue and increase vitality, physical beauty, the ability to effectively communicate. 
• The 6-Mukhi Rudraksha is said to boost the wearer’s personality. This Rudraksha is recommended in the Vedas to bring, wisdom, riches, and eternal youth. The wearer is endowed with sagacity, heightened intellect, resolved, and mental steadiness. Artistry, expressiveness, and oratory are bolstered to the wearer. 

6-Mukhi Rudraksha according to the scriptures: 

• When one wears a 6-Mukhi Rudraksha, they are said to be absolved of crimes that are as severe as Brahmin-slaughter, as described in the Shiva Mahapuran.
• The individual radiates an unperturbed vitality that is a combination of fortitude, self-discipline, and self-control. 

Lord Karthikeya & 6 Mukhi Rudraksha:

• To vanquish the demon Tarkasur, Lord Shiva is said to have resurrected Kartikeya. Lord Kartikeya was a result of Lord Shiva’s inconsiderate handling of his seeds. However, the seed’s radiating heat became exceedingly high, so it was presented to Agni Dev to store.
• Eventually, though, even Agni Dev surrendered the fire to Ganga Mata. After obtaining the seed, the water from Ganga quickly evaporated owing to the high temperatures. She planted the seed in the Sharavana, the divine meadow of Parvati.
• Here, the original seed has sprouted not just one but six babies. Maa Parvati went to check on the source of the loud cries coming from the children. The youngsters instantly calmed down at Maa Parvati’s appearance. All the six faces came together and joined into a single child. 
• Because of this, the 6 mukhi exist today. Brahma, Shiva, Lakshmi, Shakti, and Saraswati all had roles in the upbringing of the six-faced boy. He has all of the best traits. Wearers of the six-faced rudraksha are assured of good fortune. 

Origin: Nepal. As per Rudraksha Upanishad, Nepali Rudraksha are considered more significant and beneficial than Indonesian beads. They are bigger in size & heavier in weight similar to the size & of an Amla.

How to identify your original 6-Mukhi Rudraksha: 

• Good quality Rudraksha will contain mukhis with a clear outline that flow across their entire length.
• Most of the time, the one-mukhi Rudraksha beads that have greater than twelve lines could be forged by traders for the purpose of making a high profit. The upper mukhi is made through the sculpting of a lower mukhi. 
• According to Maha Shiv Puran, the only reliable technique to determine whether or not a 6-Mukhi is authentic is to split the bead along the center and count the number of chambers. The number of lines inside the compartments should correspond to the number of Mukhis on the exterior of the bead.
• X-rays are effective in revealing the lines inside it. An authentic Rudraksha is a gorgeous body that is clearly marked grooves, or Mukhis.
• Fake or artificially made Rudraksha could look exactly like the real one, but the characteristics (Mukhis) aren’t exactly like authentic beads. Beads that aren’t fully created or eaten up by insects has a higher chance to fall. 
• The Rudraksha bead should spin somewhat if you set it between two copper coins, according to the Copper Coin Test.
• Many customers do this without knowing the true fact or reason for it because they believe it is related to the Rudraksha beads’ physical and magnetic properties.
• If you hold a round object (like a Rudraksha bead) between two smooth metal coins, the object will spin because of the mechanical force acting on the pivoted surface of the Rudraksha bead. This has nothing to do with the authenticity of the Rudraksha.
• If the Rudraksha is held securely between the two coins, or if the protrusions are flattish and hence oppose the movement, there may be no spinning at all.
• When customers find that their Rudraksha bead doesn’t spin freely in their hands, they often jump to the conclusion that the bead is false.
