What is 12 Mukhi Rudraksha (Barah Mukhi)?
- The 12-Mukhi Rudraksha is a manifestation of Lord Aditya and is also worshiped as the representative of Sun (Surya Dev).
- Twelve Mukhi Rudraksha is also known as Dwadash Mukhi Rudraksha. It is also associated with Anahata Chakra, which is linked to the fourth chakra in the heart centre, eradicates anxiety, mistrust, and nervousness.
The Sun God & 12-Mukhi Rudraksha
- The 12 faced Rudraksha represents Aditya/Surya/Sun. Dwadash Aditya is the name given to the 12 Mukhi Rudraksha.
- The wearer of the 12 Mukhi can acquire wealth and happiness, also free from the fear of fiery energies and diseases. Any sin incurred by killing of animals and soldiers at war is nullified by this Mukhi.

How to identify your original Barah-Mukhi Rudraksha:
- Place the bead in a glass of water for an hour to evaluate the durability of twelve Mukhi Rudrakshas. If the bead stays unaltered, after taking out it is a genuine bead.
- There should be no worms left in the remaining water in the glass, and the colour should not change. Now carefully look for any damage or minute holes in the bead.
