What is 16-Mukhi Rudraksha? 

• The 16 Mukhi rudraksha is one of the rarest and most precious Rudrakshas because it represents the acquisition of sixteen different kalas (skills and abilities).
• Different people wear the 16-faced rudraksha for different reasons. The sacred blessings of Lord Shiva may be found inside the natural sixteen Mukhi rudraksha beads. It also brings the bearer the blessings of Lord Rama.  

Lord Rama & 16 Mukhi Rudraksha according to the Vedic Scriptures: 

• The lord Rama was born into a royal household. As he matured, he became a noble, brave, and upright ruler. Anyone who met him instantly adored him.
• This young prince was not only physically formidable, but also exceedingly attractive. During Devi Sita’s Swayamvar, only he was able to raise and string a bow & to marry her.
• They went back to Ayodhya. The youthful heir to the Ikshavaku throne was destined for greatness. Respecting his father’s word, he moved his family (brother Lakshman and wife Sita) into the woods.
• The loss of Sita to Ravana’s captivity devastated Lord Rama. The Anshavatar of Shiva, Lord Hanuman, helped him out. Lord Rama and his army of monkeys constructed a ship to cross the ocean and free Sita from captivity in Lanka.
• Lord Rama had to fight and kill Ravana to recover Maa Sita. He and his bride went back to Ayodhya, where they were greeted by “Jai Shri Ram” and where he was anointed king. 
• Extremely uncommon and potent, the 16 Mukhi Rudraksha is a bead of great spiritual significance. It neutralises Rahu’s destructive energy.

• A person who wears this rudraksha is granted access to sixteen Siddhis. Rudraksha, which means “victory” in Sanskrit, is a kind of protective bead believed to ward against physical pain, deadly illness, legal trouble, emotional distress, and other forms of adversity.
• The user also gains 16 Shakti (Power), equivalent to the Punya of 7 rebirths. According to the Mahabharata, Arjun used this Rudraksha to hit the Fish Eye.

How do you identify the original 16-Mukhi Rudraksha: 

• Quality Rudraksha contains mukhis that have an obvious outline, which flow through their entirety. The majority of the time, single-mukhi Rudraksha beads with more than 12 lines can be made by traders with purposes of earning an impressive profit. The upper mukhi is created by the carving of the lower mukhi. 
• As per Maha Shiv Puran, most way to know the authenticity of a 16-Mukhi is authentic is to break the beads along its center and count the number chambers.
• The lines in the chambers must be equal to the number of Mukhis located on the outside part of the bead. In X-rays, you can see the lines that are inside. The authentic Rudraksha is an exquisite body with clearly defined grooves or Mukhis.
• Artificially or fake Rudraksha may look identical to the original, but the features (Mukhis) don’t match exactly with genuine beads. Beads that weren’t created in full or consumed by insects have a greater probability of falling.
